What’s better than learning about a great cause, meeting new people, and training your brain? How about doing them all at the same time!
November is Alzheimer’s Awareness month, and we are hosting a happy hour to share memories, bring awareness and raise funds for brain health research.
Join Keeping Memories on Wednesday November 28th 2018, from 7 to 9pm at The Clock Tower, on the second floor of The New York Edition Hotel (5 Madison Ave, New York, NY, 10010), in the efforts towards helping research for neurodegenerative diseases and memory training. Whether your intention is to learn more about this disease, tell us how you are training your brain, or try one of the delicious bar cocktails, all are welcome.
We are also challenging your brain to a game of pool at the purple table in The Clock Tower.
Since it’s Alzheimer’s Awarenes Month, don’t forget to:
- Spread awareness of the ways to improve your brain health; challenging your mind and training your brain can help reduce the risk of cognitive decline. From artistic activities, to strategic games, to continuing education, to things as simple as using your nondominant hand for your daily routines, anything helps.
- Stay social, being more social connected protects brain health and longevity.
- Go purple, and wear the official color of Alzheimer’s Awareness.
No tickets needed, but no donation is too small nor too generous for finding a cure for Alzheimer’s disease. RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Because you are your memories!
